The interior door panel is held in place by 10 retaining clips and two screws. Remove the screws of which can be found by the door handle. Pry outward on each retaining clip to remove the door panel.
Looking in the rear hatch of the Tahoe- it is behind the passenger side trim panel in the hatch area. You have to remove a couple of trim pieces around the tailgate, and the passenger-side rear window from the interior. Then you will see the blower motor and all of the other goodies.

You have to remove the door panels first and then bend the prongs back and they will come out of the door panel. You cannot remove the speakers until the door panel has been removed.
