Remove the diff cover.
Up to the fill hole, like a diff. Probably 2 liters plus a bit?
yes the tranny oil and diff oil are seperate, typically there is a drain plug and a fill plug located on the diff usually a 3/4" combo wrench will do the trick
You have to remove the diff cover, then replace with new gasket and refill thru plug.
The standard capacity is about 2 quarts and you will need to put in a bottle of friction modifier. When you fill it up, it should reach to the bottom of the fill hole, with the vehicle at normal ride height.
3.75 ltr
till its full
Rear diff, 7.9 pints.Front diff, 2.4 pints.
nothing. but the intake will be diff.
On the upper right (passenger for a left hand drive vehicle) side of the differential, there's a plug. IIRC, you need a 3/8" drive ratchet to remove it. That's where you add your diff fluid.
The front differential is a full synthetic gear lube. If you have to ask where it is then you should probably take it to a reputable dealer or Lube shop. The actual specs for the gear lube are in the owners manual. Whoever wrote this has no clue either. The front diff has a 26mm bung on the right front side of the diff casing. See photo page 5-47 of 2003 owners manual
