The Mongols were brilliant strategists and tacticians. The Mongols by nature were extremely resilient and tough people since they weren't softened by the wealthy and comfortable city life of China and other nations. They were nomadic and tribal. This means that there was much rivalry between them. However, during the High Middle Ages, a man named Temujin was able to break old traditions and unite all the Mongols. He was later titled "Chinggis Khan" meaning "Universal Ruler (of the Mongols)". So how were they able to overthrow the wealthiest and strongest nations and kingdoms? The primary reason is their brilliant leadership, survival skills, natural toughness, and the 100% horse-based military. Every warrior in the Mongol army was a professional horse rider and archer. The Mongol bows and arrows were superior long range weapons that can kill from hundreds of yards away. While most other armies in the world during this time were infantry based, the Mongols were horse-based and that made them superior at mobilization and speed. The toughest nation for them to conquer was Sung Dynasty China. I believe it took 40-50 years to conquer most of the land. China had the most advanced and sophisticated military at that time. They also had the first gun powder weapons which allowed the manufacture of the first bombs and cannons. After decades of intense fighting, the Mongols took China and installed the Yuan Dynasty with Chinggis Khan's grandson Kublai as the Emperor. The Mongols used then used these gunpowder weapons on their campaigns throughout the lands West of Asia therefore adding to the effectiveness of their military prowess.
The Mongols focused on using cavalry archers in the beginning of their conquest. Because the steppe nomads incorporated horseback and archery into everyday lives, the Mongol archers were more skilled than those of other nations. In addition to this, the archers used composite bows that were stronger than the British longbow and different arrow tips were used for different types of enemy soldiers. The Mongol cavalry archers usually charged at the enemy until they were within firing range, and then turned back. Using the Parthian shot (turning backwards on the horse and shooting), the Mongols were able to inflict serious damage. When charging, the Mongol soldiers were silent until close, where they suddenly yelled, causing brief psychological damage. Another tactic was to retreat and draw the enemy into a chase. Because the steppe horses had great stamina, the enemy usually tired out, and the Mongols could then fire arrows. When the Mongols conquered a nation, they conscripted the men and made them the vanguard. The vanguard took the initial force of a war, while the Mongol elites waited until the enemy resources ran out. If the conquered nation had skilled engineers, the Mongols incorporated the new siege weapons into their strategies. The most infamous tactic of the Mongols was massacring an entire city to make other cities surrender. Through the use of exaggerating the death amount, the Mongols were able to conserve resource and achieve conquest through a shorter amount of time.

It is called the tympanic membrane and is used for hearing.
A Yurt is a portable, felt-covered, wood lattice-framed dwelling structure used by nomads in the steppes of Central Asia the word "yurt" comes from russia. the mongols call it a "ger" the wood lattice is called khana and is usually in 3-4-5 separate sections, that are tied together with leather cords. ger have solid doors, usually heavilly carved and painted in bright traditionnal colors. the top ring holding the rafts together is called the toono and is sometimes supported by two poles (sometimes not) highly carved and painted. it is used to get the smoke out of the tent, since the mongols keep a hearth in the middle of the ger. it also serves the purpose of getting out the hot air of the tent in summer. the mongols will raise the lower portion of the felt cover to let cold wind in and this movement will push the hot air out of the tent by the toono. there is also a flap to cover the hole in case of bad weather. the round shape of the ger will allow it to withstand heavy winds, when other building would simply be demolished.
Those circular DNA molecules are called Plasmids.widely used in Recombinent DNA Technology
They used Mr Weasley's friends tent. They used the same tent in the 4th book at the Quidditch World Cup
They are called circular needles and they are used in exactly the same way as straight needles.

Tent pegs in archaeology are commonly used to mark out excavation areas and grid squares. They are used to create a systematic and precise method for recording and analyzing artifacts and features found during excavation. Tent pegs help archaeologists maintain accurate spatial references and relationships between different parts of a site.
On treks, the team used a pyramid-shaped tent -- now called a Scott tent. At the base camp, an assembled, pre-fab hut sheltered all the crew.
