"Palisade Mesophyll" Layer
photosynthesis
If you are asking the same thing as, "Do different colored plants effect their leaves?" then yes they do.
Spongy means something that is similar to a sponge. It is porous, elastic, compressible, and absorbent. This means it lacks firmness.
You can remove chlorophyll from leaves by breaking down the plant cells' membranes using heat and rubbing alcohol
cells are atoms that are in all matter and your body is made up of cells too!
I think none, because Epidermis cells are on leaves.
The Epidermis
Yes.
It helps prevent water loss
Palisade Cells are cell lying immediatley beneath the upper epidermis of a leaf. They exist as one close packed cell.
epidermis
Yes it does except for glandular epithelia.
Most organs - and muscle.
Packing palisade cells tightly together means that the maximum amount of light can be intercepted. If there are big gaps between the cells then more of the light hitting the leaf will just pass straight through. Tightly packed palisade cells is one way in which leaves are adapted for photosynthesis.
