i am a twelve year old cellist, in 6th grade, and I've been playing since 3rd. my advice is to go to music and arts, or register to smartmusic. smartmusic is this cool site in which people can search music to play. when you click on a piece, you can play it straight fromyour computer, and even play along with it. if you by a mic for it it will tell you what notes you got wrong. also, you can record it and listen to your pitch.
Viva la Vida by Coldplay.
The cello on Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" was played by the renowned cellist, Michael Edwards. The song features orchestral elements, and Edwards' contribution adds to its rich, layered sound. His performance is a notable aspect of the track's unique musicality, blending classical influences with Coldplay's signature style.
Many differeing "pieces" that can be performed with the cello. Most famous are the cello concertos (traditionally solo cello with orchestra). Some famous concertos are those composed by Schumann, Elgar, Lalo, Hadyn, Dvorak, Shostakovich. There are also numerous sonatas as well: ex: Debussy. There are some other pieces such as Paganini's Variations on One String, Fantasy Pieces, etc. You cannot forget the most famous for solo cello: the Bach Suites.
