BS1362 3A fuses are colured red, and 13A are coloured brown.

All other current ratings are considered "non standard" and are colured black. 5A is the most common but I've seen 1A, 2A 7A and 10A also available.

My recommendation is that you use the lowest value you can get away with for you applicance.

Why is just the passenger low beam headlight not working on 2005 Honda Accord I've check the fuses swapping the 4 10amp head lap fuses around. What could be the problem?

Low beam of lamp burnt out, poor ground connection, corroded headlight lamp contacts.

Changed out battery on your 2005 suburban now your air conditioner does not work properly what should you do?

If you touched any of the A/C controls within 45 seconds of starting your Suburban (after the battery change), you messed up the 'calibration mode' of the HVAC. Pull the HVAC fuse (10amp) under the hood, and pull the two adjacent fuses (30 and 10amp) under the dash listed as 'climate control' in the manual. Push the fuses back in, restart your car, but DONT TOUCH ANY of the A/C controls for 90 seconds. I bet the A/C starts working again normally.

Where is the fuse for the 'power plug' on a 2000 Dakota?

I had the same problem. You need to go under your dash and look to the left (drivers side) and on the back side of the fuse panel you will see two fuses. One is a 10amp, the other is a 20amp, that is your fuse!!

What would cause a 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 to lose power to the power mirrors stereo and outside temp all at once fuses have been checked?

Where is the blinker fuse located in a 1998 Monte Carlo?

The Monte has 2 fuses for the "blinker" or flasher module. They are located in the interior fuse panel that is located on the right hand side of the instrument panel. Fuse position "30" is a 10amp fuse and fuse position "5" is a 15 amp fuse.

Why does the interior lights not work but the head lights work on my 2000 Pontiac grand am?

Because you have a 10amp fuse out. Look in your book for the fuse diagram. It will show you where the fuse is located for the interior and door lights. The fuses are located in your glove box (right hand side). My fuse goes out all the time. Took it to the dealership and they said they couldn't figure out why the fuses kept going out. Go figure. So I just keep changing them when one blows.
