Proofhouse.com has sn tables you can look it up on.
The Colt Peacemaker (one of many names it was given) was one of the Single-Action Army (SAA) Colt revolvers. Production of the Colt SAA revolvers started in 1873, and ran through three generations of production. One Ended in World War Two. The last generation of Colt SAA started in 1974, and has not officially ended. With the popularity of the Colt revolver, especially with growing membership in shooting clubs like SASS (Single-Action Shooters Society), demand for the SAA is still strong, and they are still being produced.
Colt SAA 45 stands for Colt Single Action Army .45cal., if that's what you mean.
10-10000 USD depending on specifics.

Call Colt, they will tell you. Yes PC1470 is a valid serial # for a Colt SAA Centennial model. There were 1501 produced in .45 LC and 1501 in 44-40 WCF as well as 501 matched pairs. Serial #'s ran from PC0001-PC1501 on both caliber's. Another interesting thing if you have one of the 44-40's it is worth a bit more because they are the only 2nd Generation SAA's made in 44-40 wcf
