Of course! The Native Americans were friendly when they met Columbus and the Spanish explorers because they thought Columbus and his explorers to be honorable people. Columbus portrayed himself in this way. He was very kind and polite to the Native Americans and made sure to treat them with respect. The Native Americans, after all, had never seen Europeans before, and although they were a bit taken aback, they admired them (of course, until they realized the Europeans only wanted their land and were only seeking to exploit them).

I think that Columbus' voyages affected a lot of Europe's exploration because now all explorers were going different directions and doing undone feats, trying to find a route to Asia and India.

It didn't become a treasure map. There was no treasure, no gold, nothing of value was found by Columbus. He was a failure. If you want to read his journal you can because it has been translated from Spanish to English and is in bookstores. I have a copy.

Because exploring new lands was daring since they believed strongly that the world was flat. It is also said that they went for trade because India (where they were trying to reach) was rich in new spices.

Because when Columbus left Asia he would come back with spices and they would get robbed on the way back if they went around India and Africa. Those waters were controlled by other nations who wanted to profit from merchants sailing through their waters. The land route was even more perilous (still is!)
