In the formation of a dipeptide, the two amino acids bond through their two functional groups (the carboxyl and amino groups). In the amino group, a hydrogen atom is taken off and in the carboxyl group; the oxygen-hydrogen molecule is taken off. The carbon atom within the carboxyl group bonds with the nitrogen in the amino group. In a disaccharide, they bond through a Carbon then Oxygen then Carbon (C-O-C). Similar to the formation of a dipeptide, a water molecule is removed because of the condensation reaction.
The chemical process that is used to form a disaccharide from two monosaccharaides is condensation reaction. Examples of disaccharides are sucrose, lactose and maltose.
When two amino acids bond it forms a dipeptide. This is a condensation reaction. When two monosaccarides can combine in a condensation reaction to form a double sugar.
the formation of sex cells GAMETES: sperm or egg cells Gamete formation: gametogenesis Sperm formation: spermatogenesis Egg formation: oogenesis
Blastocyst formation
kissing
formation of prothrombin activator
The process of endospore formation within a vegetation cell takes several hours and is known as sporulation or sporogenesis.
The chemical process in which two amino acids are chemically bonded is dehydration synthesis, in which one amino acid loses an -OH group and the other loses a -H atom which together form a molecule of water, leaving the nitrogen atom of one amino acid to bond with the carbon atom of the carboxyl group of the other amino acid, which forms a peptide bond, which forms a dipeptide. Refer to the following website for a labeled diagram showing the formation of a dipeptide.http://study.com/academy/lesson/dipeptide-definition-formation-structure.html
Hydrolysis must occur before a disaccharide can be absorbed into the bloodstream. A water molecule is added during this process.
Morphogenesis is the biological process that causes an organism to develop its shape. Histogenesis is the formation of different issues from undifferentiated cells.
The process of an egg formation is called ogenesis.
nuclear fission
Cementing is not a process involved in the formation of sedimentary rock.
The process of meiosis never results in the formation of a Diploid.
The S-process.
Chemical prosses, or enzymstic process, is synonymous to bio processes
The process is known as Pedogenesis. Erosion and siltation are two of the mechanisms that contribute to pedogenesis.
the process involved is formation of rocks and sediments
it is a process of soil formation
