In Microsoft excel, the default cell formatting is for GENERAL. When you key in something in the cell, if it is only numbers (without alphabets / special characters, it will be expressed in number format except in case of keying in with some special pattern like 01.01.01 / $ 100.10. In case of 01.01.01 it will be expressed as date by the computer and in case of $ 100.10 it will be expressed as currency!!

Base 16 numbering is called 'Hex' or 'Hexadecimal'. Base 8 numbering is called 'Octal'. Base 2 numbering is called 'Binary'.
A million, although with computers, it is often 220 = 1,048,576. [kilo = 1000 or 210 = 1024 with computer related numbers]
Second generation computers are often called transistorized computers. The transistorized computers are more advanced computers than the first generation of computers.
The term "real format" can refer to various contexts, but it often describes a data representation that accurately reflects true values without abstraction or simplification. In computing, it may denote a specific structure for representing real numbers, such as floating-point format, which allows for the expression of a wide range of values. In other contexts, "real format" could imply authenticity in presentation, ensuring that information is conveyed in a straightforward and unembellished manner.
Hexadecimal is often used instead of denary to represent binary numbers because it provides a more compact and readable format. Each hexadecimal digit corresponds to four binary digits (bits), making it easier to represent large binary values without lengthy strings of zeros and ones. This simplification helps reduce the potential for errors when interpreting or writing binary data, especially in programming and digital electronics. Additionally, hexadecimal aligns well with the way computers process data, which is inherently binary.

Yes. It is possible to create custom formats for things like dates, currencies and numbers etc. Type in some values you want to format first. Then go to the Format menu, click Cells, and you will be given a menu with various formats, the last of which is Custom. Often it is best to pick one of the existing formats first and then customise after that by going in to format again.
No, there are no valid numbers beginning with +44 0. You will often see numbers written in a hybridized format like +44 (0) 1632 960123, but that is incorrect and confusing, because for calls to the UK from other countries you do not dial the trunk prefix 0.
vCard is a file format standard for electronic business cards. They are often attached to e-mail messages, but are also exchanged on the World Wide Web. They can contain names and addresses, phone numbers, URLs, and more.

In GCSS (Global Combat Support System), manual reservations are typically assigned using a series of numbers that follow a specific format designated for tracking and management purposes. These numbers often include a combination of date, document type, and a unique identifier to ensure each reservation is distinct. The exact format can vary based on the organization's configuration and operational requirements. For precise details, users should refer to their specific GCSS user manuals or guidelines.
Phone numbers can be written in various formats, but a common numerical example is (123) 456-7890. This format includes the area code in parentheses, followed by the three-digit prefix and the four-digit line number, separated by a hyphen. Alternatively, they can be formatted as 123-456-7890 or simply 1234567890 without any separators. The choice of format often depends on regional conventions or personal preference.
