Many community colleges offer high school students the opportunity to take college course work while still attending high school. These are usually at the community college level. Each community college may have requirements that are particular to themselves. As an example, I know of one community college that has a program for high school students that they call "The Bridge Program." The high school student must be at least 16 years of age, a junior or senior, have a grade point average of 3.0 (B), with signed counselor and parent approval. The student must also pass the Basic Skills Test in total. If all is in place, they can then register for college level course work. Check with your home county community college and your high school guidance counselor.
