In fact, the vast majority of "Confederate" bills on the market are replicas. Many gift shops sell them, and about 80 years ago millions were given away in a promotional campaign.
All replicas made since 1973 are legally required to carry the word COPY or REPLICA somewhere in the design but older ones don't have that indicator. A lot of them were made using photolithography and artificially-aged paper so it can be very hard to tell them from the real thing. There's a list of commonly-copied bills at the Related Link, below.

I don't know what the T after the date is but I know it's fake. Confederate coin reproductions are sold all over the southern states in gift shops, real Confederate coins are pretty much accounted for.
Well, one way is no two dollars have the same serial number.Real ones have small red and blue threads embedded in the paper. And most fake ones just don't look real. The printing is sloppy and not crisp. And if you compare them with every little detail you might know of something is different or not.
You would have to get it appraised by a competent professional in this field. As I understand it, there is a huge amount of fake confederate money around, mostly intended as souvenirs.
hi what is your name?well we don't know what its worth yet so go ask someone else please
