Here are some medications that interact badly with the antibiotic Amoxicillin:

Major Interaction: Folex PFS or Trexall (methotrexate), Methotrexate LPF Sodium, and Rheumatrex Dose Pack (methotrexate)

In addition to a penicillin allergy, those with liver disease may not be able to take certain penicillin-containing drugs. Certain drugs, including oral contraceptives and anti-inflammatory medications, may adversely interact with penicillin.
