T6500 is faster and also, the T6500 is not "core duo" like the T4200 but "Core 2 Duo" (newer)
Think, T6500 better than T4300 because of more cache memory onboard, but I'm not sure at all. Too small info.
t5500 is faster
T4200 has Enhanced Intel® Speedstep Technology which the celeron doesn't. http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=37251 vs http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=41498 Not having speedstep on an laptop will be bad for your battery consumption.
A processing core is a complete, independent processor. Each core has its own ALUs, fetch-execute cycles, pipelines, and cache, but shares some support circuitry with the rest of the processor. A dual-core processor simply means that there are two independent processors in a single package.
Hyperthreading refers to a single processor running multiple threads in parallel. "Dual core" can have one of two meanings. The first is simply two processors housed on a single chip. The second refers specifically to Intel's Pentium Dual-Core architecture, which is a specific family of chips. Like the Pentium Dual-Core, Core 2 is another family of Intel microprocessors (with a different architecture). This family includes: Core 2 Solo, Core 2 Duo, and Core 2 Quad which have one, two, and four cores, respectively.
Core 2 duo should be better due to fact that it was produced using a better technology (65 nm vs 90 nm). Chech "Sources and related links" below for more information.
The Intel Core 2 Duo is a much faster Processor than an AMD Athlon x2 64. I have 2 Computers and the one that has the Intel Core 2 Duo Processor is much faster. I logged on to the other one and it takes time to warm up after you log on, so I did a test to see which one is faster. I started the Intel Core 2 Duo Computer after I logged on to the other one and I could start it up and use it in 1/2 of the time it took for the AMD Processor Computer to warm up after I had logged on. There is proof that the Intel Core 2 Duo Processor is The Superior Processor vs. an AMD Athlon x2 64 Processor.
Answer is very simple and it is very clear that Intel core 2 duo vs Intel dual core any more similar. The similarity of names makes even many computer geeks confused when asked to do a comparison of Intel core 2 duo and Intel dual core.Intel Pentium D CPU comprises of two dies, each containing a single core residing next to each other on a multi-chip module package. The Pentium D consumes a relatively high power. It runs very hot and is not a good OverClocker.Intel Dual Core is the first dual-core CPU from Intel. The Dual core makes use of two cores on a single die i.e it has two chips in one package. It solves the problem of overheating ofIntel Pentium D without compromising on the performance.Intel Core 2 Duo processors are the next gen processors from Intel. It is developed with a new Architecture called Core. The new architecture of Intel core2 duo makes it a lot better processor that runs cool. Most importantly the Intel core2 duo is a super over clocker.

m1 architecture between Intel Core i9 is batter M1.
Pentium 4 vs. Dual CoreThere are MANY differences between these two generations of Intel CPU's. Most notably, Duo Core CPU's possess two processing cores opposed to the Pentium 4's single processing core. While a Duo Core CPU may be operating at a lower overall operating frequency, it is still much more powerful then a Pentium 4 considering it's improved FSB speed, cache size, multiple cores, efficiency, etc.
