I had this problem too. And out of desperation, I went up to the apple icon in left hand corner scrolled down to "force quit" clicked on that and it pulled up a box with the Jaksta icon in it. I hightlighted it and then clicked on "force quit" and it was gone from my desktop. Hope that helps.
