no human has been to mars...yet
No human has set foot on Mars - yet.
how much a cheapskate has
No human beings have yet gone to the planet Mars.
The human race has not yet put a human being onto Mars. NASA currently have a Mars Exploration Rover on Mars that is sending back data from experiments it conducts on the planets surface.
As of 2011, you don't. No human has ever gone to Mars, and it's looking less and less likely that any will in the near future.
There is no colony on Mars and no space shuttle will be traveling to Mars. There is a robotic probe on Mars. No human being has ever been there. At the present time (2013) it is impossible to say if any human being ever will go there. Certainly some people would liketo go there. But no trips are scheduled.
$17.46 at the door pleaseAnswerwhatever you want it to cost Answer1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,001 0,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,
It isn't a lack of knowledge about Mars that prevents a trip. It's money and practical issues.
Estimates vary. Several tens of billions at the most conservative. We do not have the technology at present for a manned mission to Mars.
In order for people to go to Mars one condition that will be necessary is gravity. There will have to be a form of artificial gravity to counteract the impact that not having gravity would have on the human body.
There aren't yet any good estimates of how much it will cost to send people to Mars, or to keep a Martian colony going long enough for it to be come self-sufficient. It will be literally "astronomical". Whatever the cost, it will be cheap insurance for the human race, which could be exterminated with a single asteroid strike on Earth. Once humans can survive on Mars, and the Moon, then one catastrophic accident won't inevitably mean the death of the human race.
