In 1960, a half pint of milk was 4 cents, in the school cafeteria. It didnt matter if it was chocolate, or white, but all they had was whole milk. This is in Oklahoma. We bought our milk from the dairy farms, it was 60 cents a gallon.

About 95 pence.

I remember it about .80 cents and there use to be milk trucks that would deliver it to the door each morning. I would buy milk, eggs, cheese for about 3.00 to my door.
