It's not possible for a nuclear reactor to form an atom bomb, as the fissile material is spread out through a large volume, whereas a bomb requires a small concentrated core of the fissile material. Also a bomb requires almost pure U235 or Pu239, whilst a reactor uses low enrichment, about 4 percent U235 to start with.
What is possible is a loss of coolant leading to fuel damage and release of activity. This type of event has to be made as unlikely as possible, by design. Large disruptive failures of the reactor pressure vessel are discounted, but smaller failures are allowed for in the design to ensure that safety measures and equipment will contain such failures without release of radioactivity outside the plant.

No, power plants do not blow up after 50 years.

Nothing within human power can blow up everything in the galaxy.
How did who blow up which castle???Do you think ANYBODY could have the vaguest idea of what in the world you are talking about??
Probably not
There are several ways to blow up a cars engine. If your car loses all its oil and you don't shut off the engine you could blow it. You could blow it by over revving the engine for long periods of time. If the engine doesn't have water in it it could run hot and quit.
You have to be careful when installing power converters in your car. Installing the wrong type could blow up your speakers or not give them enough power to work properly which will in turn damage them.

Powder kegs are literally small barrels filled with gunpowder. Figuratively they are something that is very volatile, a situation that could easily blow up.
