As long as you have the latest version of Java installed you'll be able to play Runescape on a mac.
You simply cannot play other version of the game then the current one available of Runescape [2].
Macs can play Runescape as long as you have Java installed and have a working internet connection, the faster the better. This is simply because Runescape is an application written in Java; without Java, you cannot run Runescape on your computer. You can download Java from this link if you do not already have it installed: http://www.java.com/en/
No Runescape is an Internet MMORPG. It is only playable on the PC/Mac.
Provided you have java, flash n all that you should be able to play it on any computer, there's a 50% chance though you may not be able to play Runescape if you are running a MAC, and also there's a 50% chance if either way that you may not be able to play Runescape in High-Detail, but still be able to play it in Low-Detail.

If you are running on an Mac it may not be compatible.
Hahahaha... you're thinking about gaming on a Mac? Seriously though; Yeah you could, but it's not reccomended because it's a mac.
Runescape is the only one I can think of.
A lot of games have mac versions of their games, for example all of the sims games have mac versions... but if the game you're trying to play is not a mac version you can't play it on a mac unless you install vmware fusion or paralells, both of which allow you to install windows on a mac sorry that I could be more help CrossOver Games is software that will allow some Windows games to be played on a Mac without running Windows but it does not work for all games. (See links below)
botting will get you banned before you will even make 1m. nothing works on mac's.
