It COULD, but more likely it would just cause it to run poorly once it starts.
There is none. This vehicle does not have a air filter for HVAC ventilation.
I know that on a '96 the fuel filter is an in-line type near the fuel tank. As Pontiac hasn't really altered much on the Sunfire in over ten years, I'd suggest starting there.
Look under the vehicle along fram - follow the fuel line from the tank
Near the rear of the vehicle up near the gas tank; RELIEVE FUEL PRESSURE FIRST BEFORE REMOVING THE FILTER!!!
where is the fuel filter located on a 2003 Pontiac sunfire
You can find the 2005 Pontiac Sunfire air filter the inside of the air filter housing.. The air filter housing will be in the engine compartment.
Look under the vehicle - follow the fuel line from the tankRemove clamps and support to replace
A 1997 Pontiac Sunfire has an AC Filter located in the cabin. The filter can be found behind the glove compartment and is used replaceable.
You may have a fouled fuel filter.
Water in the fuel will keep it from starting.
a fram filter is number PH3387A
It's on the passenger side of the engine at the rear. You need to access it from underneath the vehicle. (unless you have really small hands!!)
