No. A redwood tree could not live in Iowa except under special conditions. Iowa is too dry. Redwoods take in moisture through their roots. Iowa has that. Redwoods also take in moisture through their leaves. Iowa does not have that. It could reproduce that in a botanical garden. Does anyone in Iowa want to build a building like the Chrysler Building?
