Could an HPT give a false positive if you forgot to read it until 30 minutes later?

Probably not. If it says positive, it probably won't go away in thirty minutes. I took mine almost two months ago and it still says postive. If you are still not convinced, take another test and set a time so you don't forget. Or go see a doctor for a blood test.
