Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jackson I have the same issue. Started Sept 2008 - seems like a MFG issue. Anyone else want to add to this? ... thanks ... Angel The motor control unit on these cars (GrandMarq/CrnVic from FoMoCo) is sub par quality and require replacing too often. The MCU is a small circuit board type plug in that is on the firewall near the AC hoses as they enter the passenger compartment. Easy to med difficulty in replacing. I have a 2002 GM LSE that I had to replace the MCU. Dealer only part - $30 - $60.
Anyone have advice for moving out of state?
