Sheer tights are considered translucent, meaning the leg can be seen through the tights. Men don’t wear dresses or skirts. Most men don’t shave their legs. From a fashion standpoint there is no reason for men to wear sheer tights. If a man were to wear sheer tights it would be considered crossdressing. Most people would view it negatively and wonder why he is wearing tights line a woman.

Generally, however, in modern western culture, men no longer wear tights, although Elizabethan men regularly wore a kind of tights called "hose" instead of the more modern trousers/pants.
