In a lonely town, one boy dreamed of saving the world. He had no intention of saving it, no propensity of saving it - he only wanted to save the world. This only occurred in his dreams - Bob's dreams. Bob wasn't the most handsome fellow around, but that didn't stop him from following his dream - if he could remember it. Along with Bob's ugliness, he had suffered from short term memory loss. Therefore, Bob could not remember his dreams. Bob wandered hours and hours around the woods behind his house. The woods stretched three square miles - though living in Nebraska, his woods were the only woods in the entire state. Bob occasionally encountered the hunter, even some without a license, but Bob saw it all. Nothing passed through the woods without Bob seeing it. Of course, Bob never remembered his encounters. One day, as Bob walked through the woods, he saw a tree. This was an uncommon event. You're probably thinking "There are zillions of trees in a forest." No. This tree was a golden maple oak. It's leaves remained golden, except for winter, where they fell off. Every tree in the forest was either a willow or an elm, so never before had Bob encountered an oak. Especially the golden maple oak. As Bob touched its graceful leaves, it started turning purple, gradually shading from a bright gold, to a poisonous purple. The leaf fell to the ground, and sat there. Everything around it started dying off from its original color, into a dark, poisonous purple. Soon, everything within a kilometer's radius had turned purple. The sky even began to turn purple. Bob had read a book just before this about worm holes. These riffs in space can transport people into different ages of history, which essentially repeats itself. Bob took a look around, and spotted his book. He flipped its pages so fast, the book sparked. Flipping faster than ever, Bob found the Index. He looked up the signs of a wormhole, and flipped to page 376. Bob realized that wormholes poison life. They also turn everything into a sickly shade of purple, which in 3 days time would turn into an orange andfade away into the atmosphere turning into dust. Bob knew he had to stop this madness - he had to stop the wormhole from opening wider. Otherwise, the wormhole would keep opening wider and wider until it engulfed the earth into a flaming ball of chaos. He had to stop this - but right after lunch. He knew it was Nacho Tuesday, so he rushed into his house and started chowing down on nachos. His nachos turned purple. This was the last straw for Bob. No one messed with Bob's nachos. Bob went outside, with everything purple, up until his doorstep. Bob ran into the darkness, and wandered into a village. The people were as black as a shadow, but they had white circles for eyes and white markings all over their bodies. As soon as Bob stepped into the village, the people of the village came out of where ever they were and stared at him. One lousy little kid threw a rock at him. Bob walked between them, as the village people formed a line straight to a big building - a big, black building. After five minutes, Bob had been acquainted with their leader, Jabbah, and their village of Jubbo. Bob had discussed the matter with Jabbah, but Jabbah could only shake his head in disbelief that earth was in trouble. Bob slapped Jabbah. Jabbah slapped Bob. Bob slapped Jabbah even harder than Jabbah slapped him. Jabbah slapped Bob even harder than he had previously slapped Bob, in which Bob then retaliated with a harder slap. Jabbah bopped Bob over the head with a stick. Bob slapped Jabbah once more. Jabbah was laughing so hard over their little quarrel, he fell asleep. What a waste of space, Bob though about Jabbah. Bob walked out of the village hall, which was Jabbah's house. Bob looked around and saw his house was gone. Everything in sight was gone, everything was black. He turned around to the village of Jubbo, and that was gone, too. Then, Bob woke up. It was all a dream. This was a dream that Bob was certain to remember. Then, Bob woke up. Again. Bob had been dreaming about himself dreaming about a weird dream. Weird, Bob thought. It was weird, until Bob woke up.
