Of course. A serial killer does not live in a vacuum. True indeed. Some of them live secluded lifes but neighbors know them as peacefull lonely neighbors. Some live a family life and no one ever suspect anything until the law is upon them.

I know what you did last summer
If you had a serial killer living close by, you will never know it until you see it in the news. All of the serial killers which were interviewed said the same thing, however it is difficult to measure the odds.
You sir, May never know.
they will not fit in and they will look creepy and maybe even have weird cars
To tell the truth the serial killer would lose but if he is like the dude from assassins creed he might win

I assume you are talking about a friend or aquaintence that you are suspicious of and I urge you to proceed with caution. You must not accuse someone of such a horrendous thing unless you have very strong beliefs that this person could possibly be a killer. The potential damage to the suspected aquaintence could be devastating and lifelong. On the other hand do not question this person or put them 'on the spot' or make them feel that they need to defend themselves. If you are truly serious about this try to alert police quietly and be sure to let them know you are only suspicious unless you have some kind of evidence. That being said, I feel it is appropriate to state that although we hear so much about serial murder these days it is still rare and these kinds of killers consist of a very small percentage of violent offenders. They get more than their share of the headlines but the chance that your aquaintence is really a serial killer is very small.
The Zodiac Killer was a serial killer who operated in Northern California in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Since he was never apprehended, we don't know when or even if he has died.
That's the million dollar question. There's no way to do so right now. We don't have a solution because we don't even understand where the problem stems from. There are many hypothesis on how a serial killer is a serial killer, but none of them can give us a 100% insight to how they became who they became. Many serial killers have loads of things in common, like living in a dysnfuctional home and suffering head trauma as children. But we still can't find the problem. Until we know what the problem is, we cannot solve it.
The relationship between a serial killer and torturing animals is the fact that serial killers kill people for know apparant reason which is also the case with people torturing animals for no reason at all.
