Why would anyone want to take such a cocktail? Never mind. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant, rapidly lowering in availability due to its use as a precursor in the making of methamphetamine. However, it is a separate drug. On any decent, modern test, it should prove positive for meth. Ephedrine is a CNS stimulant with effects similar to, but milder than, amphetamine. Many reports claim it can yield a false positive for meth. The chemical structure resembles those of amphetamines, but should show a false positive on modern, quality tests. The SSRI antidepressant Prozac is chemically different altogether and will not prove positive, as neither will Levoxyl, a thyroid medication.
False positives are very rare, first. Second, from personal experience (I have been on Levoxyl for about 9 months and take a test every month or so due to my birth control methods), I have never had a false positive (as far as I know...knock on wood).
forever
Yes.
If you stop taking Levoxyl you will go into a hypothyroid state. This will include symptoms such as feeling tired, fatigued, weight gain, constipation, muscle aches, reduced concentration, depression to name a few.
phertemine sides effects?
It's best not to take Levoxyl and products containing soy flour at the same time, as it may decrease your body's absorption rate. Don't crush a pill into infant soy formula, for example.
first of all it is all bad for you and second yes
A commonly used thyroid hormone is levothyroxine (Synthroid, Levoxyl, Levothroid).
Yes. Alprazolam or Xanax is a benzodiazepine. This is a short acting anti-anxiety medication, and Schedule III controlled substance. Levoxyl is actually synthetic T4, a hormone as opposed to a drug. T4 is more commonly known as "thyroid hormone." Synthetic T4 in Levoxyl is IDENTICAL to that made by the human body. This replaces a naturally occurring hormone that your body is lacking. The two chemicals do not interfere with each other.
I currenly use levoxyl to treat my hypothyroidism but as far as I know it does not cause milk to leak from your breast. On the other hand, pregancy, prolactinomas and/or adenomas of the pituitary gland do cause milk production. You should talk to your endocrinologist about this.
No. Absolutely not. Tumeric and prilosec have a moderate drug interaction. Tumeric stimulates the Production of bile which will Make your gerd/heartburn symptoms worse if taken with prilosec.
Unless your doctor tells you not to, you should take any medicines that have been prescribed to you, even when you're having a fasting blood test. It is also okay to drink small amounts of water.
