Could be a plugged PCV system
Could be a number of things. Plugged orifice tube/expansion valve. Condensor, evaporator plugged.
Could be a restricted exhaust (plugged cat), restricted intake (plugged air filter), restricted fuel system (plugged fuel filter).
Your PCV valve ( or PCV system ) could be plugged ( positive crankcase ventilation )

Mine was caused by a blown head gasket. Could be a defective thermostat or a plugged radiator too. Would need more detail about when it overheats and how you know it is overheating to give a better answer.

A stereo system can fail for hundreds of reasons. About all you can do is make sure it is plugged in and all of the other cords are plugged in and that the speakers are working. If the stereo doesn't even light up, and it is plugged in, then it could be a fuse. Look on the back for a fuse holder . . . if not there, then it may be soldered into the circuit board inside. Several years ago, my stereo system would not turn on . . . after lots of brilliant troubleshooting (?), it turned out that I had plugged it into a wall outlet that was turned off by a switch over by the door.
You have a plugged drain on the outside end of the kitchen drain system. -A smart handyman could clear this very quickly.
