Yes, it is possible. But it does not occur in everyone. Some people cry, are violent, etc. It can be any emotion though, depending on whatever. (For me, personally, it was uncontrollable sobbing after wisdom teeth surgery with local anaesthesia.)
Post-anesthesia hysteria, often characterized by agitation or confusion, can be caused by factors such as the effects of anesthetic drugs, individual sensitivity, or pre-existing anxiety disorders. It may also occur due to the disorientation following surgery or the effects of pain medications. To minimize its occurrence, clinicians can use shorter-acting anesthetics, provide a calm recovery environment, and ensure effective communication before and after the procedure to help alleviate anxiety. Additionally, preoperative assessments can identify patients at higher risk for post-anesthesia agitation.
An animal might drool within a few hours after surgery from the effects of the anesthesia. Sometimes the anesthesia causes nausea and vomiting. The nausea can cause drooling. Also, sometimes an animal can be slow to recover from the anesthesia, being dizzy, clumsey, and disoriented, which can also result in drooling. Keep an eye on her to see that she improves over the evening. These after-effects should wear off in a few hours. The cat should be fine the next day. If it is the day after surgery and she is still drooling, CALL THE VET.
ok
It depends on you !! Personally I voted for Anesthesia and I'm not sorry, but each has its advantages & disadvantages.
Bacterial meningitis can lead to a range of emotional effects, such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). These conditions may arise due to the traumatic experience of dealing with a severe illness, potential long-term effects of the infection on the brain, and the stress of recovery. Seek support from mental health professionals to address these emotional challenges.
Yes, it does
I went under general anesthesia 5 days ago in order to have my gall bladder removed. I'm a 23 year old male and in good health. The last three days, my mood has changed drastically from fine/normal to sadness, depression and anxiety. It seems like the general anesthesia is to blame. That or the Percocet I was prescibed for the post-operative pain. After researching on the internet, it seems that at least a few men and women experience these sort of emotional side effects after going under GA.
There are a few reasons a person could die during tooth surgery. They could have had a post operative infection, a reaction to anesthesia, choking on a piece of gauze and losing oxygen while in surgery.

The term "post-anesthetic" refers to the period following the administration of anesthesia, when a patient is recovering from its effects. During this time, monitoring for vital signs, consciousness, and any adverse reactions is crucial. Patients may experience side effects such as confusion, nausea, or drowsiness as they regain full alertness. Care during this phase is essential to ensure a safe and smooth recovery.
