I take trazodone (by prescription) and recently had to do a urine test for my job. I passed the test with out any problems. You should be fine if you need to take any drug test. Plus, if it is prescribe by your physician you definitely shouldn't get in trouble for it.
She would most likely test positive for methamphetamine and amphetamine. One of the breakdown products of methamphetamine is regular amphetamine, so a positive result for methamphetamine is basically needed to discriminate a positive amphetamine as due to ingestion of meth vs ingestion of amphetamine. So basically, your sister's test should be positive for methamphetamine also if she did crystal meth.
Yes, could.
it could be from something you ate; particularly poppy seeds
There are no asthma medications that could make a person test positive for any illegal drugs.
both contain opiates they just aren't a controled substance cause the amount is small
No, it is not. You cannot get addicted to trazodone. It was originally designed to be an antidepressant but it was found that the drug could alleviate anxiety. It can be used to aid in sleep.
My friend is a diagnosed alcholic, when she relapsed she was sent to an inpatient program. When she was discharged from that program she was prescribed Trazodone for sleep, and Hydroxizine for anxiety. She tested positive for benzodiazepines, and may now be facing a stay in a halfway house, due to this results. I believe that if they are not in the same family, that one or both of her prescribed meds could produce a false positive. Am I correct?
Oxymorphone is a opiate and if you had ate some Poppy seeds 3 days before your test that could very well have been what showed up. my advise would be for you to ask them to send it to a lab. A false/positive could have been what happened
I failed a test for methamphetaimine several years ago and the lab called to aske if I had a prescription for Albuterol because it would show up as methamphetamine. I don't know if the drug tests can determine the difference in todays age, but if you use Albuterol that could be a possibility,
There could have been a mix up at the lab. Get retested.
Omg!! I would not try this but trazodone is non narcotic so you could probaly leave that one out! and you would def be passed out or dead!
I don't know how it would. Trazodone mainly an anti-depressentt. It's not a narcotic. They can be used for anxiety and can have a calming, slightly tranquilizing effect. So where they may have the same calming effect, they're completely different drugs.
