No. Tornadoes, some of them very large and violent, have torn through heavily forested areas unhindered. Even weak tornadoes can snap and uproot trees. In fact one of the largest tornadoes ever recorded struck a forested area.
It depends on how strong the tornado is. At the low end (EF0 and EF1) tornadoes damage roofs, break windows, and knock down small trees. In the mid range (EF2 and EF3) tornadoes demolish trailers, uproot and snap large trees, and tear roofs and walls from most buildings . At the high end (EF4 and EF5) trees are stripped of bark, strong buildings are leveled or blown away, and asphalt is peeled from roads.
There is flooding, that kills the most people, the wind can bring trees down and they can also make tornadoes
I'm not sure if tornadoes can do good at any point. Tornadoes are violent but small storms that start over land. In a tornado, winds begin to move in a circle. They may go as fast as 300 miles an hour. The winds make a tall, dark cloud in the shape of a funnel. The bottom of the funnel may touch the ground. If it does, a great deal of damage can occur. Buildings are destroyed. Cars and other objects can be lifted and thrown many yards away.
No. planes do not make tornadoes
me:)
Generally, none. Tornadoes can destroy vegetation and man-made structures, but they rarely do anything to the land itself. In extremely cases the very strongest of tornadoes may remove a few inches to a couple feet of soil, but nothing more than that.
Generally not. Tornadoes are generally to rare and too localized to have a significant affect on species. If a species is threatened by a tornado it is likely on the verge of extinction anyway.
No, a single tornado can not live that long. The weather system making tornadoes could stretch that far and make tornadoes in both states.
No. Tornadoes occur naturally.
No, however you can make tornadoes in Sim City.
It keeps the eggs and chicks away from ground dwelling predators.
No. They are often associated with tornadoes and other severe weather, but there is no direct connection between them and tornadoes.
