Sorry to say but probation officers don't like battery in any circumstance and penalties can range all the way from more probation fines and time to being tried as an adult depending on circumstances, if the minor was on public property, if they did documented and reported physical harm to someone, if they have a history of violence, if there was more than one aggressor past legal history ect. But honestly with as little information as you've given me i couldn't say for sure.
