Some pregnancies can be missed this early, although most will show a positive at around this time. It can depend on the quality of the test. Any line is usually interpreted as a positive result. However, if you think it is very faint, take care that it is actually a colored line you are seeing and not just a slight shadow that is often cast across the part of the test where the result strip is. If in doubt, you can gently take the test apart, and isolate the test strip itself, provided it is within the time frame for reading the test.
