Yes! Some women have a brownish pink discharge or slight bleeding with implantation. After conception takes place, the embryo then makes it way down to your uterus, where it starts implanting. This process from conception to implantation can take from 6-12 days. This is where the baby attaches itself to the lining of your uterus, and sometimes this causes the spotting or light bleeding. After this time, which could last a week or so to totally implant, the embryo starts to secrete HCG into your blood and urine. Only after about 2 days from totally implanting, can you get enough HCG to pick up in your urine. Sometimes this takes longer because each woman is different in how their body secretes HCG. This is why they tell you to wait till the first day of your missed period. Considering you are irregular in your periods, it is impossible for you to know if you are ovulating and when conception could have taken place. Do another pregnancy test in a few days and if it is negative , you may want to call your doctor and ask their opinion.

Take a pregnancy test to determine if you're pregnant while on the contraceptve implant. The implant does not affect the results of a pregnancy test. Pregnancy is very rare on the contraceptive implant and spotting and flutters are not signs of pregnancy.
