Yes. In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) you can be denied a Patriarchal Blessing, at least temporarily. In order to receive a Patriarchal Blessing you must meet with your Bishop or Branch President and receive an interview similar to the Temple Recommend interview. If you are not worthy to receive your blessing, the Bishop will work with you to prepare to receive it at a later date.
