Albania has also sent in their application, which must be reviewed and accepted before they can be a candidate.
Bosnia and Herzegovina have said that they would fill out an application for admission in 2009 and 2010, but no application was received by the EU. The country is most likely still creating one and will send one in the future. In addition, Bosnians and Herzegovinians are allowed to travel visa-free to the EU.
Kosovo is also seen as a possible candidate by the EU and its politicians predict Kosovo will join the EU by 2015. However, no application has been filled out and Kosovaars are still not allowed to travel visa-free to the EU.
