Brucella is generally contracted from animals or animal products (milk etc) rather than other people. It can be treated with antibiotics and a man of marriable age (young fit and otherwise healthy) is likely to recover quickly from infection especially if treated with antibiotics. If a new wife does catch the organism and gets pregnant quickly after the marrage there are chances of complications as the brucella can pass from the mother to the unborn child these range from loosing the baby, baby coming too early to endometriosis in mum after the birth. I would get married but I would then wait until the husband is brucella free and then a further 8 weeks have passed before starting a family. Brucella is especialy risky for baby in early pregnancy. Wait to start a family, using contraception for 3-6 months is far better than loosing a baby and it might be fun "practicing".

Hopefully if you're getting married you reside in your own home. It says in the Bible that the bride and groom will leave their parents and start their own family.
A newly married couple is required to live near or with the parents of the bride.

The best man does not have to kiss the bride, but can ask her for a dance at the reception. However, if he so chooses to kiss the bride it should not be on the lips, but on her cheek. It is a form of congratulating the newly married bride and expressing his happiness for the couple (the best man should also shake hands with the groom or a hug if very good friends is acceptable.)
You would send the card to the bride's parents home. It would be addressed: Mr. & Mrs. John Doe (newly married couple) c/o Mr. & Mrs. Joe Smith (bride's parents name) (Bride's parent's address.)
It is becoming more and more common that the bride and groom welcome the guests to the wedding reception and then they are announced into the reception hall. Usually it is the parents of the bride, or the parents of the bride and groom.
"The Bride Comes to Yellow Sky" by Stephen Crane explores themes of change, the fading of the Wild West, and the challenges of domesticity. It also delves into the clash between tradition and modernity as seen through the characters of the marshal and the newly married couple.
