Its deaduntil dark not dead unlit the dark and its about a cocktail waitress names Sookie Stackhouse who is telepathic one day a vampire named Bill comes into the bar that Sookie works at and two drainers try to drain him of his blood to sell on the black market because in this book vampire blood is very addictive and powerful and can be sold for at least $200 a vile. As they try to drain him of his blood in the parking lot of the bar Sookie saves him and she falls in love with him little did she know bill has some horrible plans that Sookie doesn't find out about until a few years latter. This series has its ups and down but is seriously addicting
