examples:
walk -is a series of step
run - is a walk with longer strides and faster than walking
hop - is to spring on one foot and land on the same foot
skip - is a combination of step and a hop
leap - is a spring on one foot and landing on the other foot
jump - a spring on one foot or both feet and landing on one or both feet
Nonlocomotor movements - your body parts but you are not moving from one place to another.

bend - to move the body or part of the body around a wide axis
lift/raise - to elevate a part of the body or the whole body to a desired level
stretch - to lengthen a bended part of the body
twist - to move a body around a long axis
circle - to move a body around a joint
