Right next to the master cylinder.
Inside the trunk on the left side. Next to the fenderwell.
Buy strutmasters for either the front or back or both. I replaced the rear air shocks on my 1995 town car with them and they are great for the price. Go to www.strutmasters.com and check them out.
Do you have the factory air ride or have you converted the car to a coil over suspension?
On my 93 continental the dealer put in a monroe kit. fits from 88-->93,I believe kits are available for later models also, hope this helps
You have an air ride system that has problems and you are wanting to convert it to coil springs? If that is the case there are kits you can buy to accomplish exactly that. Here is a kit from Strutmaster that will work perfectly for $307. Search for more kits with the term "1998 Lincoln Continental Air Ride Conversion Kit". Click the link to see the Strutmaster kit.
Yes it does, it will automatically add air to the rear bags if people get in the back and if people get out of the back it will release air, it corrects itself to proper ride height, even when your going down the road its adds or releases. If you hear a buzzing sound for 5 to 10 seconds that's your air ride, my 01 Continental has it and its wonderfull.
did you turn back on the air switch in the trunk
