The five stages of death is denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. At first you dont believe that your dieing but some people skip some stages.

First of all, you can get over it -- just not yet. The end of a relationship can be a little like a death, and it goes through phases. Usually, the sequence is denial, anger, bargaining and finally, acceptance. Chances are you've already done denial, and maybe bargaining. Let yourself feel a little anger -- go ahead and blame the jerk who dumped you. Get that out, and trust yourself. You can get to acceptance and move on. Live long and prosper!
