Parker pens uses ink in the fabric known as Quink, the pens uses either ink in a bottle or in a cartridge depending of the pens type. Before refilling it's adviseable to clean the pen. Fill a cup with handwarm water and leave the head in the wather for approx 10 minutes. Blow through the pen to assure the inks way is unblocked. Leave the head to dry. Note: it has to be completely dry before refilling with ink
