No, that answer was not "useful". In a space-shuttle itself, they can do no more than fly it to the Space Station or back to Earth - rather as its name implies. Once in the Space Station most of their working time is spent in performing various scientific experiments and measurements.

they have to check to see if everything is working every day like see if there is still time for the shuttle/rocket to get to its destination look to see if the oxygen is still enough to get there so every single day they will always have to check to see if there going in the right direction
