The heart is a pump that distributes blood to the organs of the body. The heart is made of 4 chambers. The top 2 collecting chambers are called atria; the bottom 2 ejecting chambers are called ventricles.
Just basics about heart:
Human heart is composed of 4 chambers.Upper chambers are called Atria (Right & Left)
and the lower chamber are called Ventricles. Between the right atria and right ventricle is the Tricuspid valve whereas between left atria and ventricles is the Bicuspid or Mitral valve. Right atrium is connected to Superior venecava and Inferior venacava whereas left atria is connected to four Pulmonary veins. Similarly, right ventricle is connected to the Pulmonary trunk(pulmonary artery) and left ventricle to Aorta(largest artery of the human body) which is furthur divided in to three branches called Brachiocephalic artery, Left Common Cartoid artery and Left Subcalvian artery.
Blood low in oxygen returns to the heart by way of the vena cava to the right atrium.
It leave the right atrium through the AV valve.
Leave the right ventricles to the pulmonary artery past the semilunar valve.
Goes out the pulmonary arteries to the lungs.
Returns to the heart via the pulmonary veins.
Left atrium to the left ventricle past the left AV valve.
Left ventricle past the aortic semilunar valve, out the aorta.
The heart's job is to pump oxygen poor blood into its chambers and replenish them with oxygen, and they become oxygen rich blood.
it is made up of cardiac muscle it has 4 chambers 2 auricles nd 2 ventricles

They are similar in size, anatomy, and function. They both have four chambers and four valves, which is why it is sometimes used for a heart transplant
The study of the heart may incorporate many aspects of anatomy but as a whole you would say it is
