∙ 12y agoThe structure of carbohydrates is: Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen. The ratio of Hydrogen to Oxygen is always 2:1 (therefore the name hydrate, same ratio of hydrogen to oxygen as water has). The general formula for carbhohydrates is CH2O.
