The abiotic part of the environment, which normally includes the habitats of the organisms in the ecosystem and the substances required by them (oxygen, water,...). OR inSIMPLE,

BASICALLY, Non living things are those which can't grow or move. In our environment there are several non living parts like water, air, soils, rocks,etc..these parts can't grow or move by themselves so they are non-living parts.
