I'm guessing you are saying that your washer is a 2200psi and that it is a model that uses oil...the most common DeVilbiss pumps don't use oil. And many that do use oil are sealed and no reference is made to oil changes. These little consumer pumps have a limited life cycle, and historically, more damage is caused by people attempting oil changes. Some of the older, and some new, DeVilbiss washers do use crankshaft pumps and they can come with various recommendations. We have found that the best oil to use in any of these 3400rpm pumps is the highest quality oil that you can find. A pressure washer crankcase is one of the most severe use environments that oil can operate inside. Amsoil 20-50 full synthetic racing oil is my recommendation for any pump. A full synthetic of 30w is adequate.
