Remove the 1998 Oldsmobile power steering pump hose. Remove the power steering pump retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new power steering pump.

The camshaft position sensor is right under the power steering pump. Remove the power steering pump to access the sensor.
On an Olds Silhouette it is under the cover for the wiper arms on the passenger side of the van
I never flushed a power steering unit in my 43 yr's of driving and never had a problem with a power steering unit, it's just a money maker for the garages and doesn't have to be done.
Take the drive belt loose from the pump. Loosen the lowest power steering pump hose and let the fluid drain into a bucket. Remove the lines from the pump. Unbolt the pump and mount the new one. Connect the lines up and put the belt back on. Fill the system with fresh fluid. With the engine running, turn the steering wheel fully from side to side several times to burp air from the system.

they should be either 13 mm or 1/2 in. .
It should be under the altanator at the back passenger side of the engine compartment
