NoAlice didn't see Bella getting hit by the car (that is what you meant wasn't it?) Edward just happened to be in the right place at the right time. if you read the fist 12 chapters of midnight sun then you find out that the Cullen family were furious with Edward for publicly showing his speed and strength.

In the "Twilight" series, Alice Cullen has the gift of foresight and can see possible futures. In the scenario you are describing, Alice has a vision that Bella is going to get hit by a car, so they send someone to intervene and prevent it from happening, just in case it does occur in reality.
