Having read a number of books about Earhart, pro and con on the various survival options, I have never even read or heard of the(Husband and wife) team idea even being scouted, much less explored! It should be noted that the British Aviatrix Amy Johnson(another MIA case in War II) did undergo joint flights with her husband, James Mollison, and ther may be a false analogy. Amy, is after all a nicnkname for Amelia and the two Women knew each other. I have never heard of the idea that Mr. Putnam, who had his hands full with the publishing empire would (fly Along) on one of her flights. They did jointly perform in a subnmarine-diving stunt off lforfida in l929 but that, was after all STUNT. Amel;ia And George undertook this one as a publicity stunt in locking out from a subnainr in the rather cumbersome diving gear of the time.
Amelia Earhart's parents did not want Amelia to fly a plane. How did she overcame that obstacle and tell her parents
amelia wanted to be a pilot...
no
I want to do it because I want to do it
Amelia Earhart want to see women doing thing like a boy do .
Amelia Earhart did NOT want to only want to fly at a fair, but also wanted to make history for women. Peace Out! K.T
Yes, Amelia Earhart disappeared while on a round-the-world flight. No---it was just prior to WW2. The Japanese were trying to expand and take outer territory but they did not want any publicity. Some say the Japanese had something to do with her disappearance.
Amelia's mother was not that famous. Amelia did not want to be famous she wanted to prove to people that girls can do anything boys can.
Because she was very competitive.
Well, as she would say " I want to fly for the fun of it!"
No, Amelia Earhart did not have any children because she had a flying career and didn't want to have to leave them on a short notice so her and her husband decided not to have any children. :)
Because that was more challenging
